Butterfly World
Day 7
Today I went on an adventure here in Moncton discovering Butterfly World! This is a tourist attraction at the end of Mountain Rd, right next to Magnetic Hill Zoo. This little hidden treasure is something very special. It's breathtaking on how many different types of butterflies and how friendly they are. You can even see there cocoon process. It's an experience, they will actually climb on you if you stand still, like a branch, holding a piece of orange. It was really relaxing to be in there. To see more butterfly photos check out Karen Casey Photography facebook page.

Dragon Beard Candy
Day 6
While walking in China Town Downtown Montreal, I am recommended by Rachelle and Franck to try these white hairy ball things... There both eating them and loving it! I'm still very hesitant by it's appearance. BUT ....I was always told not to judge a book by it's cover. I caved and actually tried it and loved it! I even bought some of my own to bring home. They taste kind of like a Resses Peanut Butter Cup, but with a very nice soft furry melt in your mouth texture. Almost like cotton candy, I would totally recommend it! Actually, I would not go to Montreal without having some more of these treats.
Here are some photos of the lady in full action of making them. The ones that you see here are actually the one that you are purchasing on the spot. You deposit your money on the counter for her to see while not having to touch it to keep her hands clean. It's something amazing to be able to see her make them.

Garde- Manger
Day 5
Above is a photo of a restaurant in Vieux Montreal, called Garde Manger. The owner, Chuck Hughes is a famous chef and star of the Food Network. His show is called Chuck's Day Off for those who don't know who he is. I was very fortunate to eat at his resto. IT was an interesting experience...The atmosphere that is portrayed when you walk in is a bar/pub, then you look around and it becomes a fine dining experience.

Fireworks competiton
DAY 4
We spent the day at La Ronde, which is a amusement park. It was a day full of laughs and screams... Each Saturday night they have a fireworks competition. It's a different country every night. Poland was the star this evening. They shoot up the fireworks to music, to listen to it there is a radio station that is programmed and you bring a portable ghetto blaster and you can hear the songs and fireworks sync together. They go off at La Ronde but you need to pay to see them there. We decided to leave the park and go to the vieux port de Montreal. Where we got a great view and i got to add some character to the images, with boats and buildings.

This weekend I photographed Marc and Rachel's wedding. They got married in Bouctouche,NB at this really cute place. IT was very simple and laid back. Only immediate family and friends were in attendance. Rachel used to be my brother and myselves babysitter when we were children. I was editing there photos and came across this one, which i really like, so this is my photo of the day.

Photo a Day for 365!!!!
I've decided that to get out of my photography rut, I'm going to challenge myself with a new project! A photo a day for 365... I've done something similar in the pass but with self portraits only. That project worked out well even though I skipped a few days here and there, in general I got a photo a day! This time I will have no rules or regulations.. just to photograph something everyday. These photograph can be photoshoped and different editing can be done.. As I said no rules. Rules are meant to be broken ... Cheers
