Canada Day Fireworks

Today is Canada's Birthday! Do you know that our flag was adopted Feb 15 1965! But on July 1, 1867 Canada became a kingdom in its own right on that date but the British kept limited rights of political control over the new country that were shed by stages over the years until the last vestiges were surrendered in 1982 when the Constitution patriated the Canadian constitution. Interesting little facts about our wonderful country.

I was not able to chose between these 2 images for my image of the day. Why choose? It Cannot hurt to post both! So here they are. The best part about this evening is that they had speakers all hooked up outside. Where they played our beautiful national anthem, while shooting up these very colorful and loud fireworks. These were by far the best fireworks I have ever seen in Moncton! EVER!!
